What does 'unlimited views' actually mean?
We don't meter how many times your widget loads or how many visitors see it. You pay a flat monthly fee regardless of your site's traffic. The only caveat is a fair-use clause for broadcast-scale platforms — for everyone else, it's genuinely unlimited.
How does YouTube Shorts auto-sync work?
Connect a channel and we check it for new Shorts every hour. New videos are added to your feed automatically — you can toggle auto-sync per widget or trigger a manual sync anytime from the dashboard.
Do I need a developer to install EmbedShorts?
No. You copy one small embed snippet and paste it anywhere in your site's HTML — Shopify theme editor, WordPress, Webflow, or a plain HTML page. It takes about two minutes.
Can I embed Shorts from a channel I don't own?
Yes — any public YouTube channel. Paste the channel URL and we pull the Shorts. To embed your own channel with more accurate detection, connect via Google OAuth.
Will the widget slow down my website?
No. The embed is under 15 KB, loads asynchronously, and has zero render-blocking behavior. Videos are lazy-loaded and only stream when scrolled into view. YouTube handles all the actual video delivery.
Can I remove the 'Powered by EmbedShorts' badge?
Yes — toggle it off in one click from the dashboard. While we're in beta, badge removal and every other feature are unlocked for free.
Is EmbedShorts really free right now?
Yes. We're in beta, so every feature is free with no credit card and no view caps. When we introduce paid plans, early users keep founding-user pricing — and we'll give plenty of notice before anything changes.
